FUNDING

Over 90% of our funds are spent on direct services for training children, youth, families, and teachers. Less than 10% of our funds are spent on overhead. Donations can either be general or for the Early Childhood Partnership, the K - 12 Partnership, or the Fostering Arts-Mind Education Foundation Musiclink Scholarship program. The cost of funding varies depending on the program. The following program costs give you an idea of how your funding can leave a legacy.

the Fostering Arts-Mind Education Foundation Musiclink Scholarship Program - $480 per scholarship student per year. This includes the cost of weekly private lessons and bi-monthly master classes. Your funding in this area will be used in Tucson, Arizona and/or surrounding areas.

the Fostering Arts-Mind Education Foundation Early Childhood Partnership - $3,600 for a group of 10 Early Childhood teachers to be trained over a period of 9 days, 6 hours per day, over a 6 month period of time. Approximately 200 children between the ages of 3 and 5 are impacted. This also includes statistically validated outcomes in the areas of Early Literacy, Math, Science, and Social. Your funding in this area can be used in Tucson, Southern Arizona, or anywhere in the United States.


Fostering Arts-Mind Education Foundation K - 12 Partnership - There are multiple opportunities for you to fund this program:

Visual Art Group Classes - $6,500 for a group of 25 at-risk high school students, including materials.

Guitar Group Classes - $3,800 for a group of 10 at-risk high school students.

Leadership Mentoring - $6,900 for a group of 100 at-risk high school students being trained over 30 weeks.

2nd Language Acquisition - $5,900 for a group of 25 at-risk high school students being taught English as their primary language.

Distance Learning - $3,400 for 6 concerts per year to be brought into the classrooms at 5 - 8 locations.

Distance Learning Technology - $6,400 to add the needed technology to bring one more school location on line with live video conferencing capabilities.

Your funding in this area can be used throughout Southern Arizona, including Tucson, San Luis, Somerton, Bisbee, Douglas, Sierra Vista, Wilcox, Casa Grande, and Chandler.
